The bonus

New players get a £20 first deposit match with code FIRST20. Deposit £20, get £20, it is genuinely that simple to calculate. The wagering requirement is 10x, which is higher than what I have seen at Bet365 or Casushi, and you have 30 days to clear it. It is not the biggest welcome offer out there, but the simplicity makes it a solid choice for beginners, and only slots count toward wagering, which suits players who want to clear things quickly.

02

The games

I counted 8,566 games during testing, an enormous library by UK standards. Over 5,000 slots cover everything from Pragmatic Play to lesser-known studios, and Big Bass Splash is my personal favourite here. The 200+ live casino games include baccarat with a 1.06% house edge, plus genuine casino-floor tables broadcast from the Bellagio and MGM Grand. There are 38 exclusives and 66 Slingo variants, including my pick, Slingo Sweet Bonanza.

03

Payments

Minimum deposit is £10 across Visa, Mastercard, Trustly, PayPal, Pay By Bank and Apple Pay. This is where PlayMillion loses points for me, withdrawals have ranged from two hours to two days in my experience, and that inconsistency is frustrating when you are expecting your winnings.

04

Mobile

Available via website, iOS and Android, with biometric login and smart filters by provider, tag and star rating. It is one of the easiest sites to navigate despite the size of its catalogue, though I am not a fan of the dated colour scheme and search icons.

My take

PlayMillion's game library alone makes it worth a look, and the Safe Mate tool is a genuine standout for responsible gambling. Fix the chatbot and tighten up withdrawal times, and this would be one of the best all-rounders in the UK.
